Kentfield in Marin
Kentfield lies along Corte Madera Creek and spreads across the surrounding foothills of Mt. Tamalpais. It includes Kent Woodlands, an excellent early example of environmentally sensitive development with a distinctly California feel. Kent Woodlands is known for the large size and wooded beauty of its parcels, and the architecture runs the gamut of high-end mid-century and post-modernism. Kentfield’s neighborhoods are quiet, and its location provides easy access to much of Marin and Highway 101.
Kentfield is also home to the College of Marin, a state-accredited junior college, and Marin General Hospital. Kentfield has its own elementary school district and is part of the Tamalpais Union High School District.
